Okay. Today I am officially moving from this LJ to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) _ree. I'm still leaving this one up because I love it dearly, but yeah. I've had it since I was in like eighth grade and woah that's just embarrassing. No one in college needs to have access to such embarrassing accounts.
So yeah, that's about it. _ree now.

I don't know why I update this thing anymore considering the fact that I'm moving over to my _ree livejournal in like, two days, but...oh well. I'll keep going while I put on the finishing touches.
So. Woke up at 3 AM to the sound of my dog puking on my carpet. Since it was 3 AM, I thought, "Stupid thing can sleep in her own puke, see if I care, I'm tired." And then she insisted on licking the carpet for like an hour afterwards.
Then, when I woke up this morning, I noticed that the puke was GONE...meaning that she ATE it. Or licked it. Originally, I was DISGUSTED by this, but later I was actually very touched because that meant I didn't have to clean it up. However, I will still call her PUKEBREATH for the next several weeks.
In other news, I still haven't finished my sensory overload challenge yet. Haha. The way I see it, I still have another eighteen and a half hours. :D Woo, procrastination.

oh yeah. in other news, I move to college on tuesday, so I will not be available for much of that day while I set up all my shit. also, on the subject of my roommate, here are the specs.

- enjoys poptarts and toast
she passes, I guess. we won't be best friends or anything but if she doesn't wake me up when she goes to church on sunday and ignores my bloody games and movies (and the, er, questionable content of my chicago and huckabees posters), then we can get along. I think.

Chapter twelve of How to Grow Fruit is current at something like 3500 words. It's done (yay!), but I still have to edit it (crap!), and I'm leaving for the Harry Potter midnight release party in an hour. ...yes, that means I'm leaving at 5:15. SHUT UP OKAY? I KNOW IT'S DORKY.
The question is: OMG can I finish it in time!? We shall see!

for those of you who didn't already know, I will be out of town friday, saturday, and most of sunday for my brother's wedding. speaking of which, I am starting to really hate weddings. or at least ricky's. it's after four in the fucking morning and I have to be in the car in four hours, but I'm not sleeping. what am I doing, you ask? scanning pictures, bloody hundreds of pictures for a slideshow that I was not informed of until earlier this week. not only that, but I didn't even have the pictures to scan until around wednesday, and we all know what a horrible procrastinator I am, so of course I started scanning today. what I didn't know was that I'd be scanning all. fucking. day.
dear god. I have seriously been scanning pictures for... *checks watch* over twelve hours now. my back hurts, my eyes ache, and I want to kill whoever decided it would be a good idea to have a fucking slideshow during the reception.
rawrrrrr. in retaliation, I will scan the most embarrassing pictures I can and write comments, yes COMMENTS on them during the slideshow.
stupid bints deserve it.
please excuse any typos in this post because I am very, very tired and I haven't caught even a glimpse of the real world since sometime last night. my apologies.
also, I will miss you guys dearly while I am suffering in heels for over twelve hours. ugh.

And in other news, I hate How to Grow Fruit :D I'm struggling with chapter twelve like you wouldn't believe. Every other sentence I get the urge to give up and scrap everything - maybe even go so far as to take it off FP. Obviously, I haven't done that yet, but I'm very, very close.
Perhaps I should take a break and work on Emerson. Or that random wizard story I started. Or maybe I should go read more Kingdom Hearts fanfiction until I think of a good plot for a Riku/Sora story.

Emerson, Chapter Four: 2710 (ready to start filling in details)
Fruit, Chapter Twelve: 1791 (details started; it's a short chapter, guys)
I got bored earlier and sort of tweaked the summary for Fruit. Hopefully it's better now. Also, I've been trying like crazy to think of a summary for Emerson, but I've had no such luck. The closest thing I have to a summary is this one line that won't get out of my head.
Love doesn't always have to be clean.
Haha, get it? Because love is so cool that Emerson will give up his stupid tendencies for it. Or something like that. But what it comes off as is... A DIRTY SLUTTY EMERSON HOBAG. XD So I will not be using it. But it refuses to become unstuck from my head.
Anyway.
On the Fruit front: definite update in the near future. Unfortunately, reading through earlier chapters has left me annoyed with my grammar/description skills, and I will definitely have to edit them. Of course, I tried to do this once before and only got past chapter two, so we'll just have to wait and see how far I get this time. XD
Let's see, what else do I have to talk about? *taps chin* I've got a new layout in the works but it doesn't seem to want to cooperate. And it looks like crap on any other resolution or web browser. But it's so freaking CUTE that I just can't help myself!
I suppose that's all I have to say for now. :D Time to work on Fruit like a good little writer.

I don't know what it is, but I've been feeling really down today. I made the mistake of going into a shoe store while I felt kind of depressed and -- you guessed it -- walked out with two new pairs of shoes. Someday I should take a picture of my shoe collection so you guys can see how truly serious my obsession is.
Oh well. Better to be addicted to shoes than something life-threatening, right?
In other news, I've sort of been dabbling in all four of my writing projects right now, so there's been no real progress on any front. However, I do have an unedited snippet for you from my new wizarding story.

Okay. Don't know what else to say. I think I'll go play Kingdom Hearts and admire my shoes for a while. Maybe then I'll be ready to write some more.
